Far East Living and 3E's Designs Team Up to Offer Exotic Goods
Jewelry by Eileen Sandoc Yen Now Available in Retail Store
PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA, June 26, 2005 Far East Living and 3Es Designs launch their strategic alliance at the Grand Opening celebration of Far East Living's new Palo Alto store, scheduled for June 30, 2005 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. The store, which carries fine apparel, accessories, art and furnishings with an Oriental flair, will also showcase handcrafted jewelry by 3Es Designs.
Esther Shih, owner of Far East Living, designs distinct contemporary clothing with an Asian flair, for women and children. She uses opulent materials like fine Chinese silk brocades, intricate details and luxurious surprises (such as real fur trims). To complement the Asian-inspired clothing, Far East Living also offers treasures that Esther imports from China, Vietnam, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand such as purses, fashion accessories, and home decor, furnishings and accents. Shoppers will also discover fine art pieces by Amy Da-Peng King, who painted the grand bamboo murals which decorate the store.
Eileen Sandoc Yen, owner of 3Es Designs, specializes in handcrafted jewelry that makes the most of its individual components. Sterling silver anchors her designs, which usually incorporate clasps, pendants, and/or beads crafted by artisans in Thailand, Bali, and Indonesia. She also uses semi-precious gemstones, pearls, crystals, and art glass. Eileens alliance with Esther marks the first time that jewelry by 3Es Designs will be available in a retail store. Eileen will be at Far East Living on Fridays to consult on custom design orders and answer shoppers questions.
